The Middle East Youth Summit took place from September 19th to 22nd, 2023, in the city of Mecca. The event was hosted at the Park Inn by Radisson Makkah Al Naseem Hotel. Participants representing 11 countries, including Indonesia, Malaysia, Australia, Pakistan, India, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Morocco, Jordan, Egypt, and Nigeria, were accommodated at the Hotel Anjum, conveniently located 800 meters from Masjidil Haram.
Event Schedule:
Day 1 - Unified Umrah: The summit commenced with a collective Umrah pilgrimage on the first day.
Day 2 - City Tour: Participants engaged in a city tour to explore the historical landmarks of Islam.
Day 3 - Sessions and Presentations: The third day featured introductory sessions, panel discussions, and project presentations, focusing on three central themes:
- Youth-Led Social Entrepreneurship: Addressing Socioeconomic Gaps
- Education for All: Inclusive Learning and Islamic Values
- Sustainable Practices: Environmental Stewardship in Islam
Project Presentations:
Six groups had the opportunity to present their projects before a distinguished panel of experts.

The panel consisted of esteemed experts:
- Badrus Sholeh, MA., Ph.D: Education and Culture Attaché at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Riyadh.
- Joneri Alimin: Permanent Representative of the Republic of Indonesia to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
- Muhammad Luthfi Hidayat S.Pd.Si., M.Pd.: Lecturer at the University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta and a PhD Candidate at King AbdulAziz University.
The Middle East Youth Summit served as a platform for youth from diverse nations to collaborate on critical issues, emphasizing social entrepreneurship, inclusive education, and environmental sustainability while incorporating Islamic values into their initiatives.
