Meet the Fully Funded Delegates of Middle East Youth Summit 2025

Makkah, Saudi Arabia – December 4, 2025 – The Middle East Youth Summit (MEYS) 2025, organized by Youth Break the Boundaries (YBB), successfully concluded on December 1-4, 2025, in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The summit gathered over a hundred outstanding young leaders united under the theme “Empowering Youth, Strengthening the Ummah.”

This flagship international event provided a platform for global Muslim youth to exchange ideas, present impactful community projects, and collaborate on solutions aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Participants engaged in panel discussions, islamic historical visit and umrah, also networking sessions focused on strengthening leadership and islamic values.

Out of more than 29,000 global applicants, the summit recognized exceptional participants through its Fully Funded Delegate Program — a YBB initiative that supports talented and innovative young leaders to join the summit at no cost. Following a highly competitive process involving essay reviews, interviews, and project assessments, only two delegates were awarded the Fully Funded opportunity.

The Fully Funded Delegates of Japan Youth Summit 2025 are:

  1. Anees Ahmad (Pakistani living in China) — Focused on Environmental Impact Chongqing University

Anees presented an in-depth research framework on environmental sustainability, showcasing innovative strategies such as waste-to-wealth energy solutions and green energy production from biomass. His interview highlighted a strong academic foundation supported by published studies, demonstrating his commitment to advancing global environmental solutions.

  1. Faridat Ilu'peju (Nigerian based in the USA) — Focused on solutions at the intersection of Health, Innovation, and Social Impact Boston University

Faridat showcased community-driven innovation through initiatives that address social determinants of health. Her presentation reflected a balanced integration of technology, health equity, and human-centered design—demonstrating her passion for empowering marginalized groups and fostering scalable social impact.

The fully funded program reflects YBB’s ongoing commitment to making global leadership and education accessible to all, regardless of financial background. By providing such opportunities, YBB empowers youth to expand their impact and represent their nations on an international stage.
