Youth Break the Boundaries (YBB) has officially announced the opening of registration for the Middle East Youth Summit (MEYS) 2026, an international gathering of Muslim youth scheduled to take place on March 30 – April 2, 2026, in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
Carrying the theme “Global Muslim Youth Collaboration for Sustainable Development,” the summit aims to bring together young Muslims from around the world to exchange ideas, develop leadership skills, and collaborate on initiatives aligned with global development goals.
MEYS is recognized as one of YBB’s flagship international programs and continues to promote the spirit of #TogetherforUmmah, combining Islamic values with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Participants will work in multicultural groups to develop social impact projects related to SDG 4, SDG 5, SDG 10, SDG 16, and SDG 17.
The four-day event features a combination of symposium sessions, leadership workshops, cultural exchange, and spiritual experience through the opportunity to perform Umrah. Activities include panel discussions with experts, mentoring, project presentations, and an awarding ceremony recognizing outstanding delegates.
Award categories include Best Project, Best Group, Best Participant, and Best Presenter (Male & Female), with winners receiving certificates, medals, and recognition across MEYS platforms.
MEYS 2026 marks the fifth edition of the summit, following previous themes held between 2023 and 2025 across multiple dates emphasizing leadership, unity, and youth empowerment.
The program is open to Muslim youth aged 15–40 from all nationalities and academic backgrounds, with basic English communication recommended. Delegates under 18 are advised to travel with a guardian.
YBB is an international youth organization known for global leadership platforms including the Japan Youth Summit, Korea Youth Summit, World Youth Festival, Youth Academic Forum, and Youth Leader Camp.
With enhancements to program structure and registration systems, MEYS 2026 aims to strengthen opportunities for global Muslim youth to build professional portfolios while deepening their connection to faith-based values.
