Islamic Historical Visit, Umrah (optional)

Participants will visit key Islamic sites in Makkah, such as Jabal Rahmah, Arafah, Mina, and Muzdalifah, to learn about the history of Hajj and the Prophet's journey. The group will also stop at a miqat location to prepare for Umrah. In the evening, participants who wish to perform Umrah will be guided through the rituals. This experience offers both cultural insight and spiritual enrichment.

The minimum age is 15. If you are under 15, you can still join, but you must be accompanied by a guardian to avoid issues at immigration. The maximum age is 40. However, if you are over 40 and have the spirit of youth and a passion for community, you are still welcome to participate.

This program aims to connect young Muslim leaders from around the world, promote unity through cultural exchange, and strengthen Islamic values through meaningful spiritual and leadership experiences. It also seeks to equip youth with the skills needed to lead positive change in their communities, support Muslim community development through education and innovation, and build a strong global network of youth committed to continuous growth and impact.

The Middle East Youth Summit carries the theme: "Empowering Emerging Leaders for Positive Change within the Islamic Brotherhood."

The program will be held over 4 days in Mecca, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), from December 1 - 4, 2025.

The Middle East Youth Summit (MEYS), initiated by Youth Break the Boundaries (YBB), is a transformative platform designed to empower emerging Muslim youth leaders through character development, ethical leadership, and global cultural exchange. More than just an event, MEYS serves as a dynamic space for young changemakers to share their experiences, explore initiatives to empower the Muslim community, and build strong international networks rooted in shared values.

The participants will get the visa from the appointed travel agent in their origin countries.

No, a TOEFL or IELTS certificate is not required to participate in the program.

The eligibility criteria is young Muslim aged 15 - 40 years old, open for any educational and nationality background, never been convicted of a crime , and not affiliated with any extremist organization.

When registering, you are only required to fill in your personal information and submit an essay. Please refer to the essay guidelines below.

Participants only need to prepare an essay. For the rules of writing the essay, all the details can be found on the website.

There will be 100 selected delegates for the Middle East Youth Summit (MEYS) program.

The registration will be held from June 1 to August 10, 2025. The announcement of the selected participants will be made between August 15 and 20, 2025.
